I’m inspired by seeing people persevere and thrive, even when faced with daily challenges.

What makes a ‘good day’ at a childcare centre?

A ‘good day’ is seeing the children smile—it’s the best reward for the work we do.

What’s the best/worst thing about being a childcare worker (RECE or Assistant)?

The best thing is witnessing the children’s growth and development—it’s so rewarding. The challenges are part of the job, but they’re always worth it when you see the progress.

How do you remember all of the children’s names?

I make it a habit to call each child by their name often—it helps me connect with them and remember easily.

If you could take the children on a field trip to anywhere in the world, where would you take them?

I’d take them to the zoo—it’s educational, exciting, and full of wonderful experiences for the kids.
