How long have you worked for Sentient HR?
I’ve been part of the Sentient HR family for a rewarding year.
What is your favourite colour?
My favourite color is a calming shade of blue.
What is your favourite snack?
I love indulging in a crispy, savoury bag of chips.
What is one of your hidden talents?
I have a knack for dancing and cooking—two passions that bring joy and creativity to my life.
What inspires you?
I’m deeply inspired by witnessing the growth, development, and pure happiness of the children in my care. Their progress motivates me every day.
What makes a ‘good day’ at a childcare centre?
A ‘good day’ at a childcare center is one where the environment is safe, engaging, and full of well-structured activities. Providing healthy meals and fostering positive interactions also contribute to a fulfilling day for both the children and the staff.
What’s the best/worst thing about being a childcare worker (RECE or Assistant)?
The best part of being a childcare worker is the opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s lives by helping them learn, grow, and develop in a nurturing environment. The most challenging aspect can be managing difficult behaviors or situations that require patience, empathy, and effective problem-solving.
How do you remember all of the children’s names?
Remembering the children’s names can be challenging, but it’s definitely achievable with practice and dedication. I rely on repetition—repeating their names during interactions to help reinforce my memory.
If you could take the children on a field trip to anywhere in the world, where would you take them?
I would take the children to a destination that offers both fun and educational experiences. A well-designed science museum or an interactive children’s museum would be perfect for sparking their curiosity and imagination.
